Concept of Model Parliament:
The Model Parliament (Model Loksabha) is a unique concept taken up togetheir by
MIT-SOG and BCS to encourage youth committed to politics & embrace public life with a view to strengthen the democratic fabric of our nation. With the aim to serve as a nursery for the future Parliamentarians, the institutes & student participanting should bear in mind with motive underlying the initiative. While participating to achieve these goals, the institution volunteers should not ignore the base concept that democracy offers political methods by which every citizen has the opportunity of participating through discussion and debates in an attempt to reach voluntary agreement as what should be done for the good for the community as whole.
Thus, serving as a intermediate platform, the scheme for Model Parliament would assist to establish a moment among students, youngsters to channelize their energy in proper and healty direction with constructive activites that building themselves as responsible citizens of tomorrow.
Objectives:
1) To create a common Platform for young student leaders to understand Parliamentary process of the country.
2) To sensitize the participants to think on regional, national and global issues.
3) To create solidarity & sense of construction debate & togetheirness among the participants for future cooperation.
4) To foster brotherhood & mutual understanding.

3) Questions & Answers hour.
4) Calling Attention Notice.
5) Short Duration Discussion.
6) No Confidence Motion
Selection Procedure for Parliament:
selection committee will select candidate to participate in model Lok Sabha.
